New Collection Added to Abounding Faith’s Online Store

I’m delighted to present the newest collection to Abounding Faith’s online store. This collection is inspired by my upcoming fourth book By Faith: Adventures and Reflections on Walking with God Here and Abroad, which is being released next month.

Book 4 Cover Reveal!

I’m thrilled to share Book 4’s title and cover with you! Presenting By Faith: Adventures and Reflections on Walking With God Here and Abroad.

I’m praying this book inspires you to trust God in a deeper way and encourages you to live your God-given dreams!

The book includes stories of how God chased me down in Australia, how I felt His call on my life in Israel and how I’ve seen His fingerprints during short-term missions trips to five countries as well as on the streets of New York City. It also includes some favorite blog posts, a chapter on how you can live your God-given dreams and a discussion guide.

I’ll be sharing plenty more about the book as the October release gets closer.

New Look for Abounding Faith’s Website

I’m delighted to share that Abounding Faith’s website has a new look!  Be sure to check it out.

You’ll find links to Abounding Faith’s encouraging books, online store items, inspiring You Tube channel videos and social media channels. You’ll also find info about inviting me to speak at your event, getting coaching for that book you’ve been wanting to write or transitioning to a new career and about joining Abounding Faith’s Dream Team.

Having a blog and website and all the other projects you can learn about at aboundingfaith.com are part of my faith journey. You’ll be able to read about some of the struggles I faced in launching some of these projects in Book 4.

Book 4 Update – Production Time!

“God will write your story, and you will tell it.” Those were some of the final words my dear Pastor Johansson said to me during our last meeting before he got ill.

It’s a bit surreal to be in the production phase for my fourth book. All Glory to God!  It’s been a long journey to get to this point…. This book has taken me most of my life to live and hours and hours to write and edit.

Writing another book is no joke, but I’m seeing the light at the end of the tunnel. Thanks for your prayers and encouragement! God is Good!

I’m praying Book 4 will bless and inspire you.

Book 4 Update!

I’m delighted to share that my editor had such lovely feedback about Book 4!

She said I did a wonderful job on the book and that my manuscript was a huge blessing. She loved learning about me and traveling with me to different countries. She said my testimony of how God did a miracle in me and then used me to spread His Good News around NYC and the globe was a true inspiration. All glory to God!

After a few tweaks and edits on my end, the manuscript is now back with my editor for her final look.

The editing phase is one of most challenging parts of the writing process. I appreciate your prayers as I near the end of this part of the journey. There’s still much more to come before the fall release.

Living Your God-Given Dreams Mid-Year Check in

 

How are we almost halfway through 2018? How are you doing with the goals you prayerfully set out to accomplish at the start of this year?

No worries if you haven’t made as much progress as you would have liked. There’s still the rest of the year to Pray, Dream, Do and Repeat!

With my second women’s conference a sweet memory, new gear added to Abounding Faith’s online store and the launch of Abounding Faith’s Dream Team all during the first half of this year, my main focus now is releasing Book 4 this fall. I’m looking forward to sharing some of my editor’s thoughts with you soon.

Beauty is my “One Word” for this year. I continue to look for beauty in my everyday life.  It’s been a delight to share some Miraculous and Lovely shots on Instagram.

Reflections on Speaking at The Bowery Mission’s Women’s Center’s Chapel

It was such a delight to get to visit the lovely ladies at The Bowery Mission’s Women’s Center and to encourage them during a recent chapel service! We had such a sweet time, as usual.

It’s beautiful to see how God is working in the lives of the ladies who participate in this wonderful program that helps to bring healing and hope to women in crisis.

The women are always so welcoming and thankfully receptive to what I share with them. It’s truly an honor whenever I get to speak an encouraging word to groups of people. The Bowery Women have a special place in my heart. Can you tell I was having a blessed time speaking to them by the following pic?

It’s a privilege to get to pour into the women and inspire them during this time in their lives. And they help to encourage me!

Their feedback was so kind. They thanked me for the words I shared. And one of the staffers said chapel service was fantastic and that she could listen to me all day because of the impartation and examples I shared and the timely message I spoke. Glory to God!

I first spoke at chapel a few years ago when my mom and I were doing internship hours to become volunteer chaplains. It’s been great to stay connected with The Bowery over the years.

I pray all the best for the women and staff at The Bowery Mission’s Women’s Center as well as for their programs for men and kids.

I plan to keep speaking to groups as long as God keeps giving me something to say.

New Travel Gear Added to Abounding Faith’s Online Store!

I’m delighted every time I see a picture or hear from people who have ordered items from Abounding Faith’s online store.

I love hearing that one guy’s favorite morning coffee mug is the one he ordered from the Christ Loves the Nations collection. And it was wonderful seeing a pic of a little girl sporting a T-shirt from the Pray, Dream, Do, Repeat collection. It was great seeing photos of the T-shirts and tote bags someone ordered for her Bible study group and hearing from a college student about how she enjoys using her Abounding Faith mugs in her dorm room.

Designing these items has been part of my faith adventure. I’m touched that these items are blessings others. I pray that the items in Abounding Faith’s online store will inspire you.

I’m delighted to share that Book 4 is currently with my editor. I should be getting her feedback shortly. Getting her edits will bring me one giant step closer to launching this book in the fall.
