Welcome, everyone!
My name is Nancy and I’m just an ordinary gal trying to serve the extraordinary God of the universe. I have a passion for sharing the love of Christ with people. That passion has led me to go on short-term missions trips to the Amazon jungle in Brazil, the Andes mountains in Ecuador, and the orphanages and shanty-towns of Ethiopia. In 2013, I was one of 2,000 missionaries who flooded Honduras with the love of Jesus! In 2014, I got to love on the folks in Lima, Peru.
I’ve met some amazing people during those trips and also while ministering to people on the streets of New York City! I’m delighted that I get to share some of those stories and adventures with you here.
I’m delighted that the Lord has allowed me to write two book. Waiting on God Well: How to Prevent Breaking Down on Your Way to Your Break Through and Abounding Faith: 30 Bible Heroes Who Will Inspire You to Believe God for the Impossible are on Amazon. A Bit About My Faith Journey
I grew up in a Catholic household and always loved God and knew a lot about Him, but I didn’t really know Him. It wasn’t until He chased me down during one remarkable week in Sydney, Australia in 2000 that I was completely overwhelmed by His love, grace, and mercy. I knew it was time for me to stop running away from God. I gave my life to the Lord that September and I have been walking with Him ever since. Is it always easy? NO! Is worth it? YES!!!
A Snapshot of My Ministry Work
Over the years I have helped facilitate classes for new believers, those seeking to learn more about Jesus and those wanting to learn about evangelism. I have led teams on outreaches throughout New York City through church and by working with the New York School of Urban Ministry (NYSUM). I have also trained as a volunteer chaplain. In 2005, I had the honor of being a counselor at Billy Graham’s last crusade in New York City!
Some Background About My Writing
I have enjoyed writing ever since I was very young. In fifth grade, I was making my own mini-magazine which included “celeb profiles,” movie reviews and a sports section! Well, this editor of her high school newspaper went on to major in journalism in college and got a master’s from NYU. My writing has appeared in several publications including The New York Times. These days I enjoy writing inspirational pieces that remind people that God is so much closer than you think!

I love your testimony Nancy! I can so relate in some ways because I too grew up in the same denomination as you did. I knew all about God from my parochial school days but it was not until my adult years that my understanding of what it meant to be saved actually happened. My life was changed forever and I have never looked back. How I wish I had time to tell you all that God has done (and is still doing) in my life as a daughter of the King! There is nothing more exciting than being a Jesus girl!
